Contracts Manager

Amazon is hiring a Contracts Manager to join our team in International, King County. In this full-time role, you'll negotiate, manage, and administer contracts that support Amazon's global business operations, working across departments to ensure legal compliance and protect company interests.

About the Role

As a Contracts Manager at Amazon, you're responsible for the complete lifecycle of business agreements—from initial negotiation through ongoing administration and renewal. You'll collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to structure deals that balance risk management with business opportunity. This position requires sharp analytical skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to communicate complex contractual terms to non-legal stakeholders. You'll become the go-to expert on contractual obligations, helping teams understand implications and stay compliant.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with external partners, vendors, and service providers
• Analyze contractual risks and recommend modifications to protect Amazon's interests
• Manage contract repository, track renewal dates, and ensure timely updates to terms and conditions
• Work with internal stakeholders to resolve contract disputes and interpretation questions
• Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and escalate issues as needed
• Develop and refine contract templates and standard terms to increase efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in contract management, procurement, or legal operations
• Solid understanding of commercial contract law and business agreements
• Excellent written and communication skills with ability to explain legal concepts clearly
• Proven ability to negotiate effectively and manage multiple concurrent contracts
• Proficiency with contract management platforms and Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
