Position Summary

The Community Engagement Manager at TasWater is pivotal in fostering strong relationships between our organization and the communities we serve. As a key member of the TasWater team, you will play an essential role in enhancing community engagement initiatives that support social, environmental, and economic benefits for Tasmania.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive community engagement strategies to ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Organize and facilitate community events, workshops, and meetings to engage residents and gather feedback on water and sewerage services.
• Collaborate with local government bodies, community organizations, and other key partners to align TasWater's initiatives with broader regional goals.
• Evaluate engagement programs for effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Engagement Manager who can bring innovative ideas and strong interpersonal skills to the role. Key requirements include:

• A degree in community development, public relations, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in community engagement or similar roles.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Strong project management capabilities and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
