About the Role
This role is an exciting opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented intern to support CALSTART's mission-driven initiatives in transportation decarbonization. The successful candidate will assist in executing the South Bay Cities Council of Governments Local Travel Network Outreach Plan by developing outreach materials, organizing logistics, and attending in-person events. Additionally, you will contribute to administrative tasks related to the Clean Mobility Options program.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of the South Bay Cities Council of Governments Local Travel Network Outreach Plan (including attending in-person outreach events)
- Draft outreach materials, including content for flyers, presentations, and run-of-show documents
- Organize logistics for upcoming engagement activities, including a ride-n-drive event
- Support Clean Mobility Options program administrative work, including organizing off-site(s)

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience in event planning or similar roles is a plus
