Data Analysis Intern at Calstart - East Coast, US
Position Summary
This internship provides an opportunity for a Data Analysis Intern to contribute to the development of tools and models aimed at advancing freight corridor electrification and improving vehicle economics through Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) assessments. The role is full-time and offers flexible remote working options.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support the creation of a knowledge and tools repository for freight corridor electrification, involving data research and organization, as well as tool refinement and compilation.
- Assist in developing a TCO model to evaluate the economic impact of various policy measures on medium- and heavy-duty vehicles, including road charges, feebates, and other relevant factors.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel or Python.
- Experience with research methodologies and data organization.
- Affinity for transportation decarbonization and clean air initiatives.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Prior experience in environmental, engineering, or related fields is a plus.
