The Opportunity
Gain real-world internship experience with a highly successful designer and manufacturer of computer-controlled fruit & vegetable sorting technology exported globally. As an Engineering Intern studying Mechatronics, Systems, Optics, Electronics, or related engineering disciplines, you will join our Research & Development teams to assist with Hyperspectral imaging projects.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the development and testing of advanced optical sensors for sorting applications
- Contribute to the design and optimization of systems and algorithms for image processing
- Assist in data analysis and interpretation from sensor tests
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Document experimental results and contribute to technical reports
Skills & Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a relevant engineering program (Mechatronics, Systems, Optics, Electronics)
- Familiarity with optical sensors and hyperspectral imaging technologies
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or MATLAB is beneficial
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
