Position Summary

As a Senior Commercial Portfolio Manager - Equipment Finance (Underwriter), you'll serve as a key decision-maker in our commercial lending operations, responsible for evaluating credit applications, assessing borrower financial health, and approving loans within established credit guidelines. This role plays a crucial part in our institution's risk management and loan portfolio quality, ensuring disciplined underwriting practices across assigned commercial relationships.

What You'll Do

• Analyze and assess the creditworthiness of commercial borrowers and evaluate their ability to meet loan obligations
• Review financial statements and supporting documentation to make informed credit decisions
• Perform detailed ratio analysis and trend evaluation of customer financial performance
• Recommend loan approvals, modifications, or denials based on credit policy and risk assessment
• Approve credit facilities within your delegated authority and loan parameters
• Monitor existing commercial credit relationships and portfolio performance
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and compliance with internal credit standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field
• Proven experience in commercial lending, equipment finance, or credit analysis
• Strong proficiency in financial statement analysis and ratio calculations
• Thorough understanding of commercial credit policies and underwriting principles
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate complex credit situations and make sound decisions
