What This Role Involves

As a CNC Machinist - Operations Technician, you'll operate and maintain Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working the 2nd shift, you'll be responsible for setting up machines, running production jobs, and ensuring quality output while maintaining safety standards. Your work directly impacts the precision components that serve Woodward's aerospace, energy, and industrial customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to technical specifications and blueprints
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and numerical control programs
• Set up machines, adjust tooling, and monitor production runs for accuracy and quality
• Perform quality inspections and measurements using precision tools and gauges
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance when needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols
• Document production data and report on machine performance
