If you blend hands-on clinical insight with a passion for building software that improves patient care, this role puts your expertise at the centre of how modern health solutions are designed and delivered.
About the Role
As a Clinical Business Analyst at Harris, you will define the business and functional requirements behind technology solutions that meet customer needs, hit delivery milestones, and uphold rigorous quality standards. Acting as the bridge between clinicians and engineering, you will convert real-world clinical needs into clear specifications that help our technical teams build tools supporting safe, efficient patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive clinical requirements forward, weaving clinical practice and technology into workflows that protect safe and efficient patient care.
- Act as a trusted clinical liaison among end-users, clinicians, internal teams, and application technology vendors.
- Turn business needs into product designs, detailed requirement specifications, and use cases.
- Produce functional specifications, design documents, clinical process workflows, and supporting documentation for new builds and enhancements.
- Partner with Systems Analysts throughout software build, configuration, and testing.
- Create and run functional, integration, and regression test plans using clinical scenarios for new features, releases, and regulatory updates.
- Showcase new functionality to clinical users and gather their feedback to shape future direction.
- Respond directly to business users on support cases escalated from the Service Desk.
- Contribute to user focus groups, requirements workshops, vendor training, and product demonstrations.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable clinical informatics position.
- A current clinical certification and/or license.
- Senior-level functional command of healthcare application technology.
- Advanced skills across the MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- A genuine belief in disciplined project management and an appetite for new challenges.
- A Bachelor's Degree, or an equivalent mix of advanced coursework, training, and industry experience, is preferred.
