Child Mental Health Therapist – Outpatient – (LISW, LPCC, IMFT)

Join LifeStance Health as a Child Mental Health Therapist – Outpatient in Lancaster, Fairfield County, and help young people develop healthier emotional lives. We're hiring a full-time Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Indiana Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT) to deliver compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to children in our outpatient setting.

About the Role

As an outpatient Child Mental Health Therapist, you'll work with children and their families in a clinical setting designed to make mental healthcare accessible and effective. You'll build genuine therapeutic relationships, help young patients navigate emotional challenges, and empower families with tools and insights to support their children's wellbeing.

What You'll Do

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with children using evidence-based therapeutic modalities
• Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with each child's needs
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to integrate therapeutic progress into the home environment
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation and progress notes in accordance with professional standards
• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and school professionals as needed
• Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust approaches based on clinical progress

What We're Looking For

• Current, unrestricted license as LISW, LPCC, or IMFT
• Demonstrated experience or strong interest in working with children and adolescents
• Competence in evidence-based therapeutic approaches for child mental health
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both children and families
• Commitment to cultural competency and inclusive care practices
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
