This is a full-time leadership role for an experienced operations executive ready to build systems, drive scaling, and deepen our impact as a growing social enterprise committed to food-based economic opportunity.
About the Role
You'll lead operational strategy and day-to-day execution across the organization, taking ownership of the systems, infrastructure, and processes that enable CommonWealth Kitchen to expand its reach and strengthen its mission. This is a hands-on position in an entrepreneurial environment where you'll collaborate across departments to optimize what's working, identify gaps, and build new capabilities to support our growth.

- Design and implement systems and processes that drive efficiency, scalability, and program quality
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and operational performance metrics

- Strong systems thinking—ability to see connections across functions and solve complex interdependent challenges
- Deep expertise in areas such as financial management, HR, supply chain, program operations, or business infrastructure
- Hands-on leadership approach; comfort implementing strategy directly, not just setting direction
- Genuine commitment to economic equity, food access, workforce development, or related social impact
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to build effective cross-functional partnerships
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, nonprofit management, or equivalent professional experience
