The Arthur Companies Inc is hiring a full-time CDL Ground Application Loader for its agricultural operations in Fertile, MN — a seasonal role running mid-April through mid-September that is central to keeping field spraying crews moving efficiently and safely all season long.

About the Role

As a Ground Application Loader with The Arthur Companies Inc in Fertile, Polk County, you will be the logistical backbone of the agronomy spraying operation. Licensed applicators depend on you to have equipment loaded accurately and ready to go — your precision and dependability directly impact how many acres get covered each day. This is hands-on, outdoor, field-support work that demands focus on chemical safety, accurate measurement, and a strong sense of urgency during peak planting and growing season.

What You'll Do

• Receive, measure, and mix crop protection chemicals and liquid fertilizers to exact label specifications for licensed applicators
• Load and supply application equipment in the field, keeping sprayers fueled, filled, and operational with minimal downtime
• Drive a CDL-required tender or support vehicle to field locations throughout the Fertile, MN area
• Maintain accurate batch and load records, tracking product usage per job
• Inspect hoses, pumps, and handling equipment before and after each use; report maintenance needs promptly
• Follow all federal, state, and company safety protocols, including proper PPE use and chemical spill procedures
• Keep the loading area and support vehicles clean, organized, and compliant with DOT and EPA requirements
• Communicate clearly with applicators in the field to coordinate timing and product needs

What We're Looking For

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) — required
• Ability to handle and accurately measure agricultural chemicals following label directions
• Physical stamina to work outdoors in variable weather conditions throughout the spring and summer season
• Strong attention to detail — accurate mixing and loading is non-negotiable for crop safety and compliance
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work at a fast pace during high-demand spraying windows
• Prior experience in agricultural operations, chemical handling, or equipment support is a plus but not required
• Ability to lift and move heavy containers as part of regular daily duties
• Team-first attitude and clear communication skills
