About the Role

As Audit Manager, Vice President, you will direct the planning, execution, and delivery of comprehensive audit engagements focused on Commercial Investment Banking operations. You'll manage cross-functional audit teams, develop engagement strategies aligned with enterprise risk priorities, and drive findings toward measurable improvements in business processes and risk management.

What You'll Do

• Direct audit fieldwork, including scope definition, resource allocation, and timeline management across complex banking functions
• Lead control testing and risk assessment activities to identify gaps in governance, compliance, and operational processes
• Develop and present audit findings, recommendations, and action plans to senior leadership and business stakeholders
• Build and mentor audit professionals, fostering technical expertise and a strong culture of quality and continuous improvement
• Ensure audit work adheres to internal standards, regulatory requirements, and professional auditing frameworks
• Collaborate with risk management, compliance, and business units to evaluate emerging risks and control effectiveness
• Document audit procedures, findings, and results in accordance with firm policy and external regulatory expectations

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related discipline
• 7+ years of audit, internal controls, or risk management experience, with demonstrated progression in leadership roles
• In-depth knowledge of banking operations, investment banking processes, or financial services compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in complex engagements
• Excellent communication skills; ability to translate technical findings into clear business impact statements
• Professional accounting or audit credentials (CPA, CIA, or equivalent) preferred
• Proficiency with audit management tools, data analytics, and financial systems
