What You'll Do

• Operate Class A tractor-trailer combinations hauling general commodity and HAZMAT freight safely and on schedule
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT and FMCSA standards
• Manage hours-of-service accurately using electronic logging devices (ELD)
• Handle, transport, and document HAZMAT loads in strict accordance with federal and state hazardous materials regulations
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, or equipment concerns
• Maintain a professional standard of conduct when interacting with customers and facility personnel at pickup and delivery locations

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• Current HAZMAT endorsement, or the ability and willingness to obtain one prior to start
• Clean motor vehicle record that meets DOT and company standards
• Valid DOT medical examiner's certificate
• Minimum age of 21 (required for interstate commercial operation)
• A safety-first mindset and a consistent record of regulatory compliance
• Strong self-management skills — reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail on every run
