CDL-A Lease Driver – 2yrs EXP Required – OTR – Reefer – Harpers

Harpers is seeking experienced CDL-A lease drivers for full-time over-the-road refrigerated freight operations based in North Platte, Lincoln County. If you have at least two years of OTR driving experience and are looking to operate as an independent contractor in the lease purchase program, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

This is a full-time position operating a refrigerated (reefer) tractor-trailer on interstate routes across the continental United States. You'll haul temperature-controlled freight loads for a network connected to one of the country's largest transportation carriers, accessing diverse freight opportunities and consistent work.

What You'll Do

• Operate a refrigerated tractor-trailer in over-the-road service, maintaining compliance with federal safety regulations and company standards
• Manage your lease vehicle and maintain responsibility for equipment care, logs, and driver records
• Build your own freight business as a lease contractor while leveraging Harpers' carrier relationships and network access
• Transport temperature-sensitive cargo safely across multiple states and regions
• Coordinate load pickups and deliveries while meeting customer timelines and dispatch requirements

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
• Minimum two years of verifiable OTR (over-the-road) driving experience
• Experience operating refrigerated equipment preferred
• Ability to manage as a contractor and understand lease purchase economics
• Professional demeanor, reliability, and commitment to safety

Compensation Structure

As a lease contractor, you'll earn 82% of gross line haul revenue plus 100% of applicable fuel surcharges, giving you direct control over your earnings through load selection and efficiency.
