About the Role
We're hiring Class A commercial drivers to deliver food products across our region. As a delivery driver with US Foods, you'll operate a commercial vehicle to transport foodservice products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and businesses in a safe, timely manner. This is a full-time position with consistent scheduling and the guarantee of being home every evening.
What You'll Do
- Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to safely deliver food products on assigned routes
- Manage multiple customer stops and ensure on-time delivery performance
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and DOT compliance records
- Provide professional customer service and communication at each stop
- Meet performance and safety metrics consistently
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL A)
- Clean driving record and demonstrated safety history
- Professional experience operating Class A commercial vehicles
- Willingness to work early morning dispatch hours (3 AM – 5 AM start times)
- Strong commitment to reliability and customer service
- Physical capacity to sustain a 50-hour-per-week schedule
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage: $31.00/hour (advancing to $32/hour at 6 months, $33/hour at 1 year)
- High-performing drivers earn up to $100,000 annually
- $5,000 retention bonus
- Weekly pay
