About the Role

C&S Wholesale Grocers operates one of the nation's most respected wholesale grocery distribution networks, and we're building a fleet that reflects our commitment to safety, efficiency, and exceptional service. As a CDL A Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our company on the road—transporting wholesale groceries and products to customers throughout the Robesonia, Berks County area and surrounding regions.

What You'll Do

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport products safely and on schedule
• Plan and manage efficient delivery routes while adhering to DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational readiness
• Securely load, transport, and unload cargo according to weight and balance requirements
• Maintain accurate trip logs, documentation, and delivery records
• Provide professional customer service and represent C&S Wholesale positively at every stop
• Communicate proactively with dispatch and management about route conditions and delivery updates

What We're Looking For

• Current Class A Commercial Driver's License in good standing
• Either 1–2 years of hands-on tractor-trailer operation, or successful completion of an approved CDL training curriculum
• Solid understanding of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety protocols
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Unwavering commitment to safe driving practices and on-time delivery
• Flexibility to work variable schedules, including early starts and weekend assignments
