U.S. Xpress - OTR is hiring full-time CDL-A Company Drivers out of Pigeon, Huron County — a strong opportunity for drivers with as little as one to five months of CDL-A experience to build a career in over-the-road dry van trucking with competitive pay and a guaranteed weekly minimum.

About the Role

This is a full-time, over-the-road dry van position running an average of 2,000 miles per week. Drivers operate on a 12-days-out / 2-days-home schedule. Solo drivers earn between 57 and 64 cents per mile based on experience, with a guaranteed weekly minimum of $1,500.* The top 20% of U.S. Xpress OTR solo drivers take home $1,700 or more per week. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualifying solo drivers.

Team drivers can earn even more — $0.72 to $0.80 CPM split, averaging 5,000 miles per week as a team, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus split between partners. If you don't have a co-driver, U.S. Xpress will help match you with one.

What You'll Do

• Operate a dry van tractor-trailer on over-the-road routes across the continental US
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with FMCSA hours-of-service regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT requirements
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding load status, delays, and route conditions
• Safely load, secure, and deliver freight on time and damage-free

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• Minimum 1 month and up to 5 months of verified CDL-A driving experience
• Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT physical requirements
• Willingness to run OTR on a 12-out / 2-home rotation
• Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professional conduct
