About the Role
As a Caregiver with Right at Home Greater Montgomery County, you'll provide essential support that enables seniors to live independently and safely in their own homes. This is hands-on work that matters: you'll build real relationships, help clients maintain their dignity, and play a vital role in their quality of life. We offer flexible scheduling across days, evenings, weekdays, and weekends—and we can get you working quickly. While we strive to build consistent schedules for our team, some shifts may vary.
What You'll Do
- Assist with personal care, bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Support clients with activities of daily living and mobility
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help manage medications and coordinate with healthcare providers
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands as needed
- Monitor client safety and report concerns to supervisors
Skills & Qualifications
- Genuine compassion for seniors and commitment to person-centered care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to assist with mobility and personal care tasks
- Reliability, punctuality, and professional demeanor
- Valid driver's license (may be required for certain assignments)
- Caregiving experience, certification, or training preferred but not required
