About the Role
This is a hands-on caregiving position that combines personal care, mobility assistance, and daily living support. You'll work directly with a 90-year-old client in her home, helping her maintain comfort, health, and an engaged lifestyle. The role requires both physical capability and emotional intelligence—you'll be trusted with intimate care tasks and meaningful time spent building trust and rapport.
What You'll Do
- Assist with mobility, transferring, and walking support to help the client move safely throughout her home
- Provide personal hygiene care including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dining and hydration
- Engage in meaningful conversation, activities, and companionship to support emotional well-being
- Help with light housekeeping tasks related to the client's immediate living areas
- Monitor the client's well-being and report any concerns to the supervising agency
What We're Looking For
- Experience or genuine willingness to learn home health care and personal care duties
- Physical stamina and ability to assist with lifting and mobility support safely
- Strong communication skills and patience in working with elderly clients
- Reliability and professional attitude; the client depends on consistent care
- Ability to respect client privacy and maintain confidentiality
- A caring, non-judgmental approach to personal care assistance
Schedule
Full-time hours available: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM or Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–6:00 PM. The schedule that best fits your availability will be determined during the hiring process.
