About the Role
As our Cardiovascular Disease Specialist, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare providers and customers within your territory. This is a field-based position where you'll combine clinical knowledge with consultative relationship-building to support the adoption and effective use of our cardiovascular solutions.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, Integrated Delivery Systems leaders, and customers across your assigned territory
- Provide evidence-based clinical insights on cardiovascular disease management and Merck's therapeutic solutions
- Collaborate with Account Executives and field colleagues to develop customer strategies and drive solution adoption
- Support healthcare organizations in optimizing patient care pathways for cardiovascular disease management
- Serve as a trusted advisor on clinical topics, disease states, and evidence-based treatment approaches
- Travel regularly throughout your territory to engage with healthcare professionals and facilities
What We're Looking For
- Background in healthcare, clinical sciences, pharmaceutical sales, or equivalent field experience in cardiovascular medicine
- Strong understanding of cardiology, cardiovascular disease treatment, and healthcare delivery systems
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with providers and organizational leaders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to translate clinical data for diverse audiences
- Self-directed work style with strong time management and territory planning capabilities
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout your assigned region
