About the Role
You'll lead engaging technology instruction as part of our camp's vibrant curriculum. This 2-week role combines hands-on teaching with the community spirit and energy that define the summer camp experience. You'll help campers build digital literacy skills while fostering confidence and creativity in a supportive, collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop and teach technology lessons tailored to multiple age groups, from preschool through middle school
- Design interactive projects that introduce computer fundamentals, problem-solving, and digital citizenship
- Manage technology resources, equipment, and learning spaces responsibly
- Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and styles
- Encourage creativity and critical thinking through hands-on technology exploration
- Work alongside camp staff to integrate technology with other program activities
- Observe and assess student learning, providing supportive feedback
What We're Looking For
- Experience teaching, mentoring, or working directly with children in educational or camp settings
