Village Caregiving is hiring a part-time Home Caregiver to provide compassionate, personalized support to clients in Mount Pleasant, Henry County, helping them live safely and independently in the comfort of their own homes.
About the Role
As a Home Caregiver for Village Caregiving, you'll deliver one-on-one care to individuals throughout Mount Pleasant and Henry County who rely on daily support to maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. This part-time position focuses on building genuine relationships with clients while addressing their personal care and daily living needs.
What You'll Do
- Provide personal care assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare meals and offer nutrition support tailored to client needs
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist with medication reminders and health-related tasks as directed
- Support mobility and ambulation safely and respectfully
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized home environment
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and community outings in the Mount Pleasant area
- Track and communicate care activities with your supervisory team
What We're Looking For
- Genuine compassion and patience in supporting clients
- Dependability and integrity in all care responsibilities
- Ability to work independently while following established care plans
- Strong communication skills and commitment to client confidentiality and dignity
- Physical capability to assist with daily living activities
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior caregiving experience valued
- Valid driver's license to travel between client homes in the Mount Pleasant and Henry County region
