Crystalview Llc is seeking an experienced Body Shop Estimator for our collision repair facility in Arlington, Baltimore. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in an independent shop where quality repairs and OEM procedures are prioritized.
About the Role
As our Body Shop Estimator, you'll be the critical link between customers and our repair team. Your expertise in assessing collision damage and preparing accurate estimates will directly support our commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Working Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, you'll operate in an on-site, professional environment focused on proper repair standards.
What You'll Do
- Inspect and evaluate vehicle damage to determine the scope of collision repairs
- Prepare comprehensive, accurate repair estimates using industry standards
- Document damage findings and repair costs with precision
- Communicate repair assessments clearly to vehicle owners
- Collaborate with repair technicians to ensure estimates align with actual work needed
- Follow OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) procedures and specifications
- Manage customer expectations throughout the estimation and repair process
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an auto body collision estimator
- Solid knowledge of automotive body repair and damage assessment
- Proficiency with estimation software and industry tools
- Understanding of OEM repair procedures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Customer service mindset and professional demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a quality-focused environment
