Automotive Service Porter

Join Haley Automotive Group as an Automotive Service Porter in Bonsack, Roanoke, where you'll provide essential support to our service team and keep our operation running efficiently every day. In this full-time position, you'll work directly with Service Advisers and Service Managers to manage vehicle flow and deliver outstanding service to our customers.

About the Role

As an Automotive Service Porter and Shuttle Driver, you're the backbone of our service department's daily operations. You'll coordinate vehicle movement between customer arrival areas and technician work bays, drive customers to their destinations while their vehicles are being serviced, and maintain the standards our customers expect.

What You'll Do

• Transport customer vehicles safely and efficiently from the service welcome area to technician work bays
• Operate the shuttle vehicle, providing transportation for customers to their homes, workplaces, and other locations during service appointments
• Perform routine maintenance and light service tasks on vehicles as directed by management
• Keep the shuttle vehicle clean, organized, and properly maintained
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the service facility
• Coordinate timing with the service team to optimize vehicle flow and customer satisfaction
• Ensure safe parking and positioning of all vehicles in designated service areas

What We're Looking For

• Valid US driver's license with a clean driving record
• Full-time availability and reliable attendance
• Professional, courteous attitude with strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization
• Basic automotive knowledge or eagerness to learn
