About the Role
As an Automotive Express Service Technician at our Massillon location, you'll be central to our express service operation—handling routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs that keep vehicles running smoothly. You'll work directly with our service advisors and customers, managing your workload efficiently to meet daily service goals while maintaining our reputation for quality workmanship and customer care.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks and top-offs, and battery testing
- Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnostic checks to identify service needs and customer concerns
- Execute brake service, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and other express service procedures
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to customers
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with shop safety standards
- Prioritize customer satisfaction by delivering dependable service, honesty, and professional communication
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or strong hands-on mechanical background
- Solid understanding of vehicle systems and common maintenance procedures
- Ability to work methodically and efficiently in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
- Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
- High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
