About the Role

As Assistant Store Manager, you're the operational backbone of your Dollar General store. Reporting to the Store Manager, you'll support all aspects of store management while directly engaging with customers and your team. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations, opening and closing procedures, and shift management
• Supervise and coach store associates, maintaining high standards for customer service and performance
• Manage inventory, merchandising, and stock management to ensure product availability
• Handle cash management, point-of-sale operations, and reconciliation
• Support sales floor operations, pricing, and promotional compliance
• Maintain store standards for cleanliness, safety, and loss prevention

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED
• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Physical capability for retail duties including standing, lifting, and stocking
