About the Role
As a Sales Associate at our Section store, you'll be the face of Dollar General for our customers. This full-time position puts you on the front lines of retail, where you'll drive sales, provide exceptional customer service, and keep our store running smoothly. You'll work directly with customers, manage transactions, and help maintain a welcoming shopping environment.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers and provide knowledgeable, friendly assistance with product selection and purchases
- Operate the register accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions
- Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, maintaining visual appeal and proper organization
- Monitor inventory levels and report stock needs to management
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment throughout your shift
- Support promotional activities and point-of-sale displays
- Assist in loss prevention and security procedures
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily sales goals and customer satisfaction targets
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Proven retail or customer service experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, with flexibility to meet store scheduling needs
- Positive attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Willingness to learn and grow with Dollar General
