Associate, Office Asset Management

Join TIAA as an Associate in Office Asset Management, based in Newport Beach, Orange County. In this full-time position, you will contribute to optimizing TIAA's real estate portfolio performance through hands-on asset management, leasing execution, and development support.

Position Summary

The Associate in Office Asset Management reports to senior leadership within TIAA's real estate group and is responsible for contributing to the strategic management and performance of the organization's office real estate holdings. This position combines analytical rigor with operational execution to drive value creation and achieve strong returns across a diversified domestic real estate portfolio. You will develop expertise in commercial real estate asset management while working under general supervision.

What You'll Do

• Assist in daily oversight and management of office real estate assets to ensure operational efficiency and performance
• Support leasing activities including tenant negotiations, lease documentation, and transaction coordination
• Participate in real estate development initiatives from planning through execution
• Analyze asset performance data and market conditions to inform management and investment decisions
• Coordinate property disposition activities and capital transactions as assigned
• Prepare financial reports and performance metrics for portfolio review
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maximize asset value and investment returns

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with financial modeling and data analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
