Role Overview

The Assistant Manager at our Manistee location plays a critical leadership role in keeping our restaurant running smoothly while maintaining high standards. You'll work closely with management to deliver excellent customer experiences and quality food. This position involves hands-on involvement in daily operations, including staff leadership, customer interactions, food preparation oversight, and team coordination. Your contributions will shape both our team culture and our customers' satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily restaurant operations and maintain consistency with Domino's standards
• Train, supervise, and mentor team members to ensure peak performance
• Oversee food quality, preparation procedures, and product standards
• Assist with scheduling, staff breaks, and workforce management
• Monitor inventory levels and help coordinate supply ordering
• Ensure cash handling procedures and point-of-sale accuracy
• Help execute opening and closing procedures with attention to detail
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to meeting location performance goals
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly
• Communicate effectively with all team members and managers

What We're Looking For

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a restaurant or retail environment
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a diverse team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience in a pizza restaurant, quick-service restaurant, or similar food service setting (preferred)
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working flexible hours including evenings, nights, and weekends
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

• Strong commitment to food safety and health code compliance
