About the Role
You'll work the sauté station at Bourbon & Bones, our vibrant Tempe restaurant, preparing meticulously-plated brunch and service menu items. This full-time position demands speed, accuracy, and a genuine passion for food quality in a collaborative kitchen environment where every dish reflects our culinary standards.
What You'll Do
- Execute perfectly-seared proteins and sauced dishes with consistent quality and presentation standards
- Manage your station during service, coordinating with the broader kitchen team to maintain pace
- Prep mise en place and ingredients according to specifications before service begins
- Follow recipes and plating standards to ensure every plate meets restaurant quality expectations
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards throughout service
- Adapt quickly to service rhythm, timing adjustments, and special requests from guests and servers
- Support other stations when needed to keep service running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a sauté cook or hot line cook in a full-service restaurant kitchen
