About the Role

This full‑time position sits within the Advancement division and focuses on growing annual giving through targeted outreach, donor stewardship, and data‑driven campaign management. The incumbent will partner with colleagues across the university to help secure vital unrestricted support that fuels academic programs, student scholarships, and campus initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and execute annual giving strategies that cultivate new donors and increase giving levels among existing supporters.
  • Manage a portfolio of alumni, parents, and friends, moving prospects through the solicitation cycle from identification to stewardship.
  • Craft compelling communications—including email appeals, direct mail pieces, and personalized outreach—that align with university priorities.
  • Track donor activity and campaign performance in the CRM, producing regular reports for leadership and informing tactical adjustments.
  • Coordinate with fellow advancement staff on events, reunions, and special initiatives that create opportunities for donor engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, pledges, and gifts, ensuring compliance with university policies and best practices.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual giving materials such as impact reports, thank‑you letters, and recognition programs.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or coursework in nonprofit management, communications, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in annual giving, fundraising, or donor relations, preferably within higher education or a mission‑driven organization.
