• Help manage assigned sports programs by working with coaches on planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Coordinate recruiting efforts, travel logistics, and equipment needs to maintain smooth program operations
• Contribute to marketing, community engagement, and promotional activities that elevate athletic visibility
• Supervise student workers or temporary staff as needed and foster a collaborative department culture
• Handle administrative tasks such as reporting, record-keeping, and preparation for meetings or reviews

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sports management, education, or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience in intercollegiate athletics administration, coaching, or operations is required
• Strong understanding of compliance standards, student-athlete development, and departmental protocols
• Proven ability to multitask, communicate clearly, and lead teams under tight timelines
• Proficiency with common office software and comfort using athletic management systems
• Excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion in sports
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel as program demands arise
