Position Summary

The City of Parramatta is seeking a dedicated Asset Systems Officer to join our team. This role offers a full-time, permanent position with a salary range of $100,112.85 to $110,247.25 per annum plus 12% superannuation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining asset systems that support the efficient operation of our local government services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and updating of asset management systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather, analyze, and report on asset data.
• Develop and implement strategies for improving asset tracking and reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices in asset management.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in asset management or a related field.
• A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business Management, or a relevant discipline is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
