About the Role

As an Asset Protection Officer at Macy's, you'll be the vigilant guardian of our store assets and a key contributor to creating a safe, secure shopping environment. You'll work part-time hours on our sales floor and throughout the store, staying alert to protect merchandise, maintain store safety, and support our commitment to loss prevention. What You'll Do

• Monitor store areas and customer activity to identify and respond to potential security concerns
• Conduct floor patrols throughout the store to ensure merchandise is secure and properly displayed
• Assist in managing store entrances and exits during designated shifts
• Report suspicious activity and document incidents accurately
• Work collaboratively with store management and team members on loss prevention initiatives
• Support a welcoming atmosphere for customers while maintaining security awareness
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain store integrity and safety standards

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Strong observational and communication skills
• Ability to remain alert and focused during your shift
• Comfort working part-time hours in a retail environment
• Reliable attendance and a professional, trustworthy demeanor
• Willingness to learn Macy's systems and security protocols
• Physical ability to walk, stand, and move throughout the store during your shift
