Join Lockheed Martin as an Associate IT Systems Engineer in Grand Prairie, TX, where you'll administer secure classified information systems and support critical national defense projects in a full-time, onsite role.

About the Role

As an entry-level classified information systems administrator, you'll manage and maintain IT infrastructure that supports sensitive government contracts. This position offers direct exposure to cybersecurity fundamentals, systems administration practices, and network operations within a high-security environment. You'll work alongside experienced engineers to ensure system availability, security compliance, and optimal performance across multiple internal projects and customer requirements.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and maintain classified information systems and related infrastructure
• Perform routine system administration tasks including user account management, patch deployment, and configuration updates
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and coordinate with IT teams on resolution
• Document system configurations and maintain accurate records of changes
• Support security compliance procedures and incident response protocols
• Assist with system backups, disaster recovery planning, and data protection measures
• Collaborate with multiple project teams and internal customers to address IT service requests

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or related field—or equivalent professional experience combined with formal training
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, systems administration, and/or networking protocols
• Active Interim Secret security clearance (or higher)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to information security best practices
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information clearly
• Reliability and professional demeanor in a government contracting setting
