Appointment Setter | Healthcare Virtual Assistant

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking an experienced Healthcare Virtual Assistant with strong appointment setting capabilities. This remote position is based in the Philippines and offers an opportunity to coordinate patient care for a US-based clinic system. We're looking for detail-oriented professionals who excel at patient communication and healthcare administration.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments efficiently
• Verify patient benefits and insurance coverage
• Handle inbound calls and assist patients with inquiries
• Make outbound calls to leads, potential patients, and for appointment follow-ups
• Reactivate past patients and maintain ongoing engagement
• Manage electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Process prescription refills following clinic protocols
• Audit laboratory results and follow up on missing documentation
• Monitor virtual clinic workflows and maintain administrative accuracy

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in appointment setting, including scheduling, rescheduling, confirmations, and patient follow-ups
• Prior experience working with US-based clinics or healthcare environments
• Hands-on experience with EMR systems, insurance verification, and patient coordination
• Background in inbound call handling within a healthcare setting
• Experience processing refills, auditing labs, and managing lab result follow-ups
• Medical billing and coding experience is a strong plus
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Stable internet connection and a dedicated quiet workspace for remote work
