In this full-time, on-site role, you'll deliver advanced training to Naval Officers at the Surface Combat Systems Training Command, preparing combat personnel to excel in high-stakes tactical environments.

About the Role

The Air Intercept Controller (AIC), Aegis Tactical Action Officer Trainer - Tier II position is a critical training role supporting the Navy's combat readiness mission. Based in Atlantic Beach, this position focuses on instructing and evaluating Naval Officers in Aegis combat systems operations through the Reconfigurable Combat Information Center Trainer (RCT 4). You'll work within the Surface Combat Systems Training Command to develop tactical proficiency in air intercept control and tactical action officer responsibilities.

What You'll Do

• Deliver comprehensive instruction on Aegis tactical systems and air intercept control procedures to Naval Officers
• Operate and manage the Reconfigurable Combat Information Center Trainer (RCT 4) to support realistic training scenarios
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback on tactical decision-making and system proficiency
• Maintain training materials, systems documentation, and course content to reflect current naval procedures
• Support training operations at the Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) in Atlantic Beach
• Collaborate with other instructors and training staff to ensure course quality and consistency

What We're Looking For

• Extensive knowledge of Aegis combat systems and naval air intercept control operations
• Experience as a Naval Air Intercept Controller or equivalent tactical systems background
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor naval personnel
• Strong communication and instructional skills
• Familiarity with combat information center (CIC) operations and procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment supporting military training missions
• Commitment to on-site work in Atlantic Beach, Duval County
