Construction Superintendent – UIC Nappairit

UIC Government Services and the Bowhead Family of Companies is hiring a Construction Superintendent to lead civil and structural construction operations in Wyoming, Kent County. As a full-time Construction Superintendent, you'll oversee job site execution, manage crews and subcontractors, and ensure every project meets rigorous safety, quality, and contractual standards.

About the Role

The Construction Superintendent position is central to successful project delivery at UIC Nappairit. You'll direct all on-site construction activities, from mobilization through warranty completion, managing both company crews and external subcontractors. Your leadership ensures the team maintains high standards for excellence in civil and vertical construction. This role includes operational oversight of camp facilities and coordination of off-site resources to support seamless execution.

What You'll Do

• Supervise construction crews and subcontractors at project sites and remote locations
• Manage all phases of construction, including mobilization, active work, demobilization, and warranty service
• Enforce safety protocols, quality standards, and contract compliance across all operations
• Oversee camp and field operations to support site readiness and worker productivity
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and logistics to maintain project schedule
• Maintain communication with stakeholders, crews, and project management teams
• Document progress, identify issues, and implement solutions to prevent delays

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or senior site supervisor in civil or vertical construction
• Strong leadership and crew management abilities
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and industry best practices
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, plans, and specifications
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work in field conditions and remote locations
• Relevant certifications such as OSHA or construction credentials preferred
