Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst

Automox is hiring a Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst to take ownership of billing, collections, and cash application within a fully remote, cloud-native IT operations company. This full-time role (Remote – US) puts you at the center of Automox's financial health and day-to-day operational efficiency.

About the Role

As a Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst at Automox, you'll run the end-to-end AR function with precision and independence. We care as much about your drive, coachability, and character as your résumé, and we're trusting you to keep cash flowing accurately while building strong relationships with customers and internal teams alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, issuing timely, accurate invoices for new business, expansions, contract changes, auto-renewals, multi-year deals, and overages.
• Run proactive, customer-first collections in NetSuite and Tesorio to hit cash collection and efficiency targets.
• Apply and post incoming payments (ACH, wire, credit card, and Stripe), then research and clear unapplied cash, chargebacks, and short-pays.
• Issue credit and debit memos, oversee customer credit holds and limits, and keep adjustments well documented.
• Analyze aging reports, AR trends, and collections metrics to surface insights that strengthen cash flow and reduce risk.
• Support month-end and year-end close, reconciling AR accounts and validating receivable balances.
• Apply deep NetSuite and SuiteBilling expertise to troubleshoot, improve processes, and support system enhancements.
• Prepare audit schedules and reconciliations, and assist with SOX controls, testing, and documentation.
• Adopt AI and automation tools to streamline workflows and sharpen forecasting.
• Partner across Sales, Customer Success, Account Managers, and Sales Operations to resolve billing discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or a closely related role managing complex AR operations.
• Hands-on NetSuite ERP and SuiteBilling experience strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and clear, customer-focused communication.
• Self-motivated and dependable in a fully remote environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; familiarity with Salesforce, Zendesk, Tesorio, Gmail, and Stripe is a plus.
• Comfort with SaaS and subscription billing models, plus an appetite for AI and automation, is preferred.
