About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Services Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the financial health of small and medium-sized businesses while enriching the lives of their owners and families. The ideal candidate will have hands-on accounting experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Monitor and perform daily financial transactions
- Prepare journal entries for various financial activities
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, sales tax, payroll taxes, and 401(k)
- Monitor and prepare monthly financial statements and supporting documents
- Credit card management and reconciliation
- Work with in-house Consulting Controllers and CFOs
What You'll Do
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of our clients. Your duties include monitoring accounts receivables and payables, preparing journal entries, conducting monthly reconciliations, and ensuring accurate financial statements are prepared on a regular basis. Additionally, you will assist in credit card management and work closely with other team members to ensure seamless operations.
Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this position, candidates must:
- Have prior hands-on accounting experience
- Be a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Hold a relevant degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
- Possess a professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CIA (desired)
