This Emergency Medicine Physician opportunity in Northern Washington County, California begins as a locum tenens assignment and transitions into a permanent, full-time position. You'll start with a manageable schedule of 4–6 shifts per month before moving into a regular full-time rotation, giving you the chance to get comfortable with the team and facility before committing long term.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and emergent medical conditions in the emergency department.
• Deliver high-quality, timely care across a range of clinical situations and patient acuity levels.
• Work 12-hour shifts, with both daytime (6am–6pm) and overnight (6pm–6am) coverage options available.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and the broader care team to ensure smooth patient flow and safe outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with facility standards.

Qualifications

• Completed residency training in Emergency Medicine.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
