About the Role

As an educator at Medina MS Linden, you will guide students from Pre-K through Grade 6 through comprehensive instructional experiences. Your focus will be on fostering academic achievement, critical thinking, and a passion for learning—with particular emphasis on science education that builds inquiry and investigative skills.

What You'll Do

• Design and deliver lessons aligned with Common Core State Standards and district curricula
• Teach science instruction emphasizing scientific investigation, inquiry-based questioning, and ethical research practices
• Build foundational academic skills across core subject areas for Pre-K through Grade 6 students
• Differentiate instruction to meet the individual learning needs of diverse elementary learners
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to support continuous improvement
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and colleagues on instructional planning and school initiatives
• Foster positive relationships with families and support their engagement in their child's education
• Participate in professional development and contribute to school-wide improvement efforts

What We're Looking For

• Proven expertise in Common Core State Standards and elementary instructional best practices
• Strong science education background, including knowledge of scientific investigation and inquiry methods
• Ability to effectively teach and engage diverse Pre-K through Grade 6 learners

• Valid Ohio teaching license for elementary education
