Oak View Group is hiring Changeover Staff to support events at the Mullins Center on the UMass-Amherst campus in North Amherst, Hampshire County. This part-time, on-site role is ideal for dependable, hands-on individuals who thrive in a fast-moving live entertainment environment.

About the Role

As Changeover Staff at the Mullins Center, you will help transform the arena floor between concerts, sporting events, and special gatherings. The position centers on the physical setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring each configuration is ready on schedule and meets venue standards. This is a part-time opportunity based entirely on-site in North Amherst.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert the arena floor between different event layouts, including concerts, athletics, and community functions
• Assemble and dismantle seating, staging, flooring, barricades, and related equipment
• Move and store furnishings, fixtures, and event materials safely and efficiently
• Follow timelines and crew lead instructions to complete changeovers ahead of doors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area before, during, and after events
• Support fellow crew members and adapt to shifting event schedules as needed

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays around the event calendar
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitude
• Capacity to follow safety procedures and verbal direction in a busy setting
• Prior experience in event operations, setup crews, or general labor is a plus
