Role Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Nurse Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) care for a 13-week assignment in Mequon, Wisconsin. This position offers a full-time commitment with a 36-hour weekly schedule, working the night shift on a rotating basis.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care and support to patients across various medical-surgical units.
- Assess and document patient conditions, ensuring accurate and timely communication with healthcare team members.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and follow hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in shift handovers and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Manage patient flow and assist with patient transfers and admissions, ensuring safety and comfort during transitions.
What You Bring
- A current RN license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Active BLS certification required; ACLS or PALS certifications may be preferred based on unit needs.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- A willingness to adapt to different hospital environments and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
