Role Overview

We are currently seeking a Travel Med Surg / Ortho Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Redding, California. This position will work 36 hours per week on nights and 12-hour shifts.

• Shift: Nights (12 hours)
• Employment Type: Travel

Core Duties

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a Med Surg / Ortho setting. This includes but is not limited to:

• Assessing and monitoring patients' conditions, administering medications as prescribed by the physician, and performing various nursing procedures.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are implemented effectively.
• Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatments, and self-care measures.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A current RN license with active registration in California or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of one year of recent Med Surg / Ortho experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus but not required.
