The Opportunity

Cox Purtell is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join their team in the heart of Sydney's CBD. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with experience in legal support, particularly within a member-based organisation setting. The position is full-time and permanent, offering a competitive salary range of $100k - $105k per annum plus superannuation.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal research and analysis to support the team’s work
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and correspondence
• Assist in the management of legal cases from initial intake through to resolution
• Coordinate with external counsel as required
• Support the preparation for court appearances and hearings
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within the organisation’s systems

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in law, legal studies, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a paralegal or similar role
• Strong knowledge of legal research and documentation processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Familiarity with legal databases and software tools
