The Opportunity

Pennicott Wilderness Journeys is seeking a dedicated and friendly team member to join our Customer Service team. As part of an incredible group working on Hobart's waterfront, you will be responsible for handling visitor enquiries, cruise bookings, and retail sales. This role offers the chance to interact with guests, suppliers, and industry partners in person, via telephone, and email.

Responsibilities

• Handle visitor enquiries and provide excellent customer service
• Process cruise bookings for our various tours and experiences
• Assist with retail sales of souvenirs and tour-related items
• Maintain a professional and welcoming environment in the booking centre
• Communicate effectively with guests, suppliers, and industry partners
• Contribute to the smooth operation of our tours and services

What You Bring

• A friendly and approachable demeanor
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Experience in customer service or a related field is beneficial but not required
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with email and basic software applications
• A passion for the outdoors and travel experiences
• The ability to work well as part of a team
