Position Summary

What You'll Do

You will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing of tamariki and rangatahi, working closely with whānau as they navigate challenges. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing support to families and communities facing various social issues.
• Assessing needs and developing plans for the wellbeing of children and young people.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Offering guidance and resources to help whānau overcome obstacles.

Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A relevant social work qualification from a recognized institution.
• Proven experience working with vulnerable families and communities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with whānau.
• A commitment to the principles of te ao Māori and cultural competency.
