Position Summary
AHS Staffing is seeking a Travel Radiology Tech for a full-time position based in Des Moines, Iowa. This 14-week assignment offers competitive pay and nights shifts over 5 days with each shift lasting 8 hours.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray imaging procedures as required by the referring physician.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during diagnostic testing.
- Operate radiology equipment accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and test results.
- Follow all hospital protocols and policies related to radiation safety.
Requirements
- Current Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in Iowa or eligible for licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiology Tech, with preference given to those with travel tech experience.
- Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
