Epic Travel Staffing Allied is recruiting a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a full-time assignment in Rochester, Sangamon County. Effective July 13, 2026, this 13-week position runs 40 hours per week on day shifts, offering clinical experience in a specialized interventional radiology environment.
Role Overview
As a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist, you'll partner with interventional radiologists and physicians to deliver advanced, image-guided patient care. Your expertise will directly support minimally invasive procedures in Rochester, operating at the intersection of clinical skill and technical precision. Working 8-hour day shifts, you'll experience the variety and professional growth that travel healthcare offers.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and advanced practitioners during vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures
- Operate fluoroscopic and radiographic imaging systems safely and competently
- Position patients, apply draping, and maintain sterile field integrity throughout procedures
- Manage instrument trays, supplies, and sterilized equipment per department standards
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to patient comfort and safety needs
- Maintain comprehensive procedural documentation and imaging records
- Implement radiation safety protocols and protective measures consistently
- Support multidisciplinary team coordination to optimize patient care delivery
What You Bring
- Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
- Demonstrated experience in interventional radiology or fluoroscopy-based procedures
- Comprehensive knowledge of radiation safety, protection standards, and regulatory requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities in fast-paced clinical settings
- Precision-focused approach to sterile technique and procedural support
- Professional flexibility and organizational skills suited to travel assignments
